Water damage is a terrible thing to go through; however, it helps to know that Plumbers FL Services will be there quickly and efficiently when needed. Christian and Carlos make a great team. They are friendly, polite, and hard working. They are a credit to the Plumbers FL, and I’m glad they were here to help me. Thank you Christian and Carlos and the Plumbers FL crew. I always call Plumbers FL, and recommend their services to neighbors and friends. Thank you.
We have used Plumbers Florida many times in the past. The technicians are always pleasant, professional and do outstanding work. Our last experience was with William who went above and beyond our expectations. His communication skills and advise were spot on. As well as just a really, really nice man!!!
This activity was reported by two separate citizens around 4:00 pm on October 15th, 2013.
The Half Shell returned to the site a second time and interviewed one of the owners who was onsite, along with the Pressure washing Contractor. The contractor maintained that no paint peelings/chips had washed into the storm drain, and that the storm drain had a history of backing up. The owner stated that no lead testing of the paint had been done, because he “knew when the building had been last painted, approx. twelve years ago, and that the building had had no paint prior to that time”, even though the building is at least 60 years old, probably older. This drain is part of a 9.13 acre stormwater drainage basin, which is known as Water Street 020 Basin. A cursory inspection of this basin drain outlet, which is actually along the river, was not possible because of remedial construction work on the Riverwalk along the riverfront. Also the tidal stage was a high tide, which submerges the drain outlets at times, and may account for some of the “clogging” issue. The DEP State Warning Point was contacted, and a report was made, although the operator was unsure of how quickly Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, who is apparently the authorized enforcement agency, would be able to have an investigator respond. Hopefully before the next ebbing tide.
