Got pipe leaks or backups? Epoxy pipe lining restores drains and water lines for 100 years, NO EXCAVATION! http://www.trenchless-pipelining.com/baltimore-trenchless-epoxy-pipe-lining-sleeving/
BALTIMORE EPOXY PIPE LINING COMPANY RESTORES 2″-60″ DIAMETER PIPES FOR 100 YEARS!
Depending on pipe diameter, pressure, temperature and residual strength, 2 different technologies are used for rehabilitation.
1. Cured In Place Pipe Lining (CIPP)
Cured In Place Pipe Lining
If the pipes are too badly deteriorated for spray on epoxy lining (discussed next), a long sleeve soaked in epoxy can be inflated inside the pipe and allowed to cure. This is called CIPP. It is much stronger than the spray on epoxy and has a 50 year warranty.
Examples of pipes that use CIPP would be cracked cast iron sewer drains, vertical rain drains and perforated corrugated storm drains. Here is a video showing what trenchless cured in place pipe lining looks like in a 4″ sewer pipe in a house in Baltimore.
2. SPRAY-ON Epoxy Pipe Lining Service In Baltimore
Rotating Nozzle Spray-On Epoxy Lining
If the pipe is of large diameter (typically over 2″), in good structural condition and is under high pressure or temperature, then an epoxy is sprayed onto the inside surface of the pipe using a rotating nozzle. The thickness is computer controlled and the pipes are typically pressure tested to ensure all leaks were sealed.
Typically used in force water mains, fire suppression pipes, chiller (cooling and heating) pipes.
With our robotic spray-on application systems, we offer the most advanced epoxy pipe lining system available anywhere. This technology has been successfully used for hundreds of miles of underground water mains worldwide. This superior epoxy application process can reline large-diameter pipes up to 60 inches and can go up to 700 linear feet in one pass. This allows for water mains to be restored without ripping up streets. The system is capable of applying multiple products and can be used for fuel lines under airport tarmacs.
Where Can Our Epoxy Pipe Lining Be Used In Baltimore?
We have revolutionized pipe restoration and has elevated industry standards with the introduction of our proprietary Robotic Spray Application systems designed for horizontal and vertical pipes which allows any pipe in high rise and low rise buildings to be relined with the same absolute precision as our Robotic Spray Application for underground pipes.
This highly specialized technology, developed by a special team of engineers, has never been available until now. No other company in Miami offers you the expertise and technology our team brings to each job, nor do they deliver the high level results. Our computerized system will calibrate and apply varying thicknesses of epoxy in the same pipe and can adjust to accommodate fittings. The end result is a uniform, perfectly smooth lining that improves and increases efficiency and prevents costly leaks, all without disturbing encapsulated building columns and ceilings. Pipes can be lined up to 700 feet at a time.
Advantages Of Pipe Relining In Baltimore
Replacing pipes is 50% to 75% more expensive than lining them. Lining is a non-invasive process. There is no destruction to buildings or landscape. Reconstruction costs for repiping can be 60% of direct pipe repair costs and epoxy lining eliminates the need for reconstruction. Over time, up to 75% of the original flow capacity can be lost as result of corrosion leading to much higher energy bills. Restoring those pipes reduces energy costs.
SAFE AND DURABLE
Our pipe lining systems provide a safe and protective barrier between the pipe and the water, which prevents harmful elements from leaching into the water supply. We use a chemical resistant, non-toxic epoxy resin which has (NSF/ANSI-61) certification that is approved for drinking water. Testing engineers estimate the life expectancy of the epoxy is roughly 50 years and CIPP is 100 years.
In all cases, pipe lining takes a fraction of the time of traditional repiping methods.
MINIMAL DISRUPTION AND NO OCCUPANT DISPLACEMENT
Our pipe restoration process is quick, quiet, non-invasive, and rarely requires displacement of a building’s occupants. For epoxy pipe lining, temporary bypass water systems are quickly installed to provide uninterrupted water service so that occupants, businesses, and clientele may continue business as usual.
Our technologies can be applied in any metal pipe in any building, structure, or environment, above or below ground. This approach is used in the piping systems of hotels, high-rise condominiums, hospitals, restaurants, airports, schools, museums, U.S. Navy ships and commercial and industrial businesses. Our solution is available for potable water pipes as well as hot water re-circulation systems, fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems, chiller lines and HVAC systems.
