Water damage is a terrible thing to go through; however, it helps to know that Plumbers FL Services will be there quickly and efficiently when needed. Christian and Carlos make a great team. They are friendly, polite, and hard working. They are a credit to the Plumbers FL, and I’m glad they were here to help me. Thank you Christian and Carlos and the Plumbers FL crew. I always call Plumbers FL, and recommend their services to neighbors and friends. Thank you.
We have used Plumbers Florida many times in the past. The technicians are always pleasant, professional and do outstanding work. Our last experience was with William who went above and beyond our expectations. His communication skills and advise were spot on. As well as just a really, really nice man!!!
Lecture by : Jim Parks (Program Manager of Energy Efficiency and Customer R&D, Sacramento Municipal Utility District)
The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is committed to advancing smart grid technologies in its service territory. Last year SMUD was awarded 7.5 million through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) to advance smart grid implementation by several years.
Jim Parks will discuss SMUD’s smart grid project and will cover project elements, hype vs. reality, what’s here today and what’s needed for tomorrow, future potential, timelines and issues.
Jim Parks directs the demand-side portion of SMUD’s Energy Research and Development department. He is responsible for demonstrating smart grid technologies, reviewing and pilot testing emerging energy efficiency, demand response and transportation technologies, and working with regulatory agencies to promote efficiency through codes, standards and legislation.
Prior to assuming his current position, he supervised the development of SMUD’s energy efficiency, load management and low-income programs; promoted energy efficiency in commercial new construction; and worked as an electrical engineer in the utility industry.
