    hi the tank gas just igniter just turn off after pilot every
    couple hours no more hot water is it the Igniter and Flame Sensor
    Replacement broken thx

    My ignitor glows orange and the gas comes on (I can hear the switch and
    smell it) but the burner will not light. Is it possible for the ignitor to
    glow but not be hot enough to cause ignition? Thanks for any help.

    i have a a.o smith 50 gallon power vent tank. I know of the flame sensor
    issue but now my tank only turns on fan runs for a min and shuts down
    totally never even tries to ignite. Any ideas? model gpsh 50 200

    Your part number 9005958005 igniter kit looks identical to mine except my
    part number is 9008288005. Do you know the difference would be??
