This 1988 Sea Ray 340 is a great boat for overnighting, fishing, and cruising. She has a wide 11’6” beam with a spacious cockpit with room for 6 guests to sit comfortably. Her cockpit includes a wide Helm Seat, back-to-back, port-side passenger seating, and an aft bench seat. At the Helm there is a Garmin panel with depth sounder and GPS and an iCom VHF radio connected to the Garmin panel for MMSI directory listing/calling. There is plenty of cockpit space for fishing or just relaxing.

This 1988 Sea Ray 340 has a stable and dry ride and her twin 7.4L mercruiser inboards enable a 26MPH cruise speed at 3200 RPM (with Fuel burn at ~1mpg!) and top speed of 40MPH at 4600 RPM (WOT). Along with a 6.5KW Westerbeke genset with 432 hours.

The boat’s cabin interior is in very good condition and all her appliances are in working order. Her spacious interior comfortably accommodates 4 adults for overnight cruises. In the galley, you have all the amenities of home with a refrigerator, separate freezer, built-in coffee pot, microwave, three burner electric stove and central vacuum system with a hose that reaches the cockpit area. The dinette seats four adults and folds into a bed to sleep two adults. The A/C unit with automatic temperature control (new in 2009) keeps Island Soul cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

This boat was purchased by the current owner (third owner) in 2009. Since then, the boat has been hauled out every 6 to 8 months for maintenance and upgrades. The most recent work included a complete overhaul of both engines. The original engines and transmissions were replaced in 1997. These newer engines and 7.4L Gen VI with Borg Warner 5000, down angle transmissions (1.5:1). The engines had 585 hours at the time of overhaul and now have 6 hours since major overhaul. All engine work was performed by a certified mercruiser technician. All receipts are available upon request. Without buying new, these engines are as close to new as you can get. The engines were disassembled down to short blocks and every part cleaned, primed and painted with Black AwlGrip OR replaced as needed.
