When it comes to finding fish in rivers and streams there are two types of environments that anglers will normally encounter. The first one is a river that holds fish all year long and those who refer to as resident fish and they’ll only move up and down the river during a 24-hour period the other type of River is a river that only has fish in it with Fish in there to spawn and those Fish are refer to as migratory fish for example a strain a rainbow trout known as Steelhead that live in Canada’s west coast will run up the west coast streams in the spring to spawn in the Great Lakes we also have transplanted Steelhead that will run up streams out of the Great Lakes in the spring and in the fall and then there’s also five different species of Pacific salmon which normally run the rivers in the fall to spawn so knowing when these Fish are attracted to the rivers and how they move inside the river will really increase your success. this particular fish is only been in the stream for a short period of time we can know that it’s fisherman because it’s a very lightly colored as it stays in the river longer it’ll turn darker and darker in color now this particular fish was caught in a certain stretch of the river and knowing where the silver fish will be is crucial to be able to catch them with regularity.
