Water damage is a terrible thing to go through; however, it helps to know that Plumbers FL Services will be there quickly and efficiently when needed. Christian and Carlos make a great team. They are friendly, polite, and hard working. They are a credit to the Plumbers FL, and I’m glad they were here to help me. Thank you Christian and Carlos and the Plumbers FL crew. I always call Plumbers FL, and recommend their services to neighbors and friends. Thank you.
We have used Plumbers Florida many times in the past. The technicians are always pleasant, professional and do outstanding work. Our last experience was with William who went above and beyond our expectations. His communication skills and advise were spot on. As well as just a really, really nice man!!!
JHB, Jr., 8 mm. family films, 1941-1956.
About 750 feet of small films (50 feet) shot by Dad finished his film library. These were put on 2 DVDs (one sent to Bon) and a duplicate video tape (“Family Memories II”) in April, 2012, at the Photo Shop in Pittsfield. The original film has been retained in its original (small) boxes, marked 1-13. The DVD is indexed into the 4 underlined sections.
Summer, 1941. At East Chop with family, starting with Bon and me. Shack — all the family, including Gram and Bumpa and Griswolds. Note: tarps for changing because no shack (lost in a storm). Big waves. Beach club swimming, me and Bon, and Dad diving. Mom and Dad skiing at Mt. Tremblant in 1942 in new powder! That summer at E Chop with Bon’s birthday party on July 19 (Griswolds there), and swimming.
Newport, 1944, spring. Dad in naval uniform in backyard with family — Kinsmans, Bumpa and Gram for some special occasion. At E. Chop with swimming and the shack for the waves. Me rowing on the pond. Beach Club scenes of us diving and swimming. Summers of 1945 and ’46 on the Vineyard. Woodstock Suicide Six skiing, winter ’46, with family. I do fast snowplow and a proud hristy at the bottom. I look like Linus roaring down Bosquet’s in Feb., 2012.
Lake Placid, 1946-47. Gram takes her entire family skiing and skating at the Lake Placid Club over New Year’s. There’s Aunt Mary and Beebee and Uncle Nort (Jean’s parents) on the rope tow set up on the golf course. Then we’re on the Vineyard and at the shack summer of 1948 and again 1949 with the men (Dad and Whit) working on the water pump (now at Somersault). 1949-50 New Year’s week at Lake Placid again, and 1950 Vineyard.
Summer, 1950. Vineyard: Beach Club with family and pretty Bonnie diving. Skiing with Mom and Dad: just them at Mt. Tremblant (1951) (powder runs!!); Stowe (single chair) and Cannon Mt. (’52); Zurs (Switzerland) skiing at Christmas, 1953, and on to
Jan., 1954. In-town street scene in Arosa (Switzerland); skiing there and at Davos with family (Dad, Mom, Bon); skiing at Pico Peak (’54) and at Aspen, March, 1956, with all of us.
