I personally photographed and shot the video on this amazing 1989 Mainship Mediterranean 35 Cockpit. Overall the vessel is in great condition, mechanically and aesthetically.
Current owner is a Captain and a Surveyor, when he purchased the boat the salon was completely gutted so he had a blank canvas to design a better layout than what came from the factory. Seller spent over k on upgrades and maintenence in the past 2 years and it shows. Current owner has original owners manuals for the vessel.
On my initial walk around of the vessel the hull shows nicely and I didn’t notice any scuffs, scrapes or imperfections. I noticed all the canvas, isinglass and cushions to be in like new condition.
Before I go over the rest of the vessel I want to list what the current owner has replace and/or upgraded: (all within the past 2 years unless otherwise noted)
New Breaker Panel
New Bimini, Isinglass, Interior Canvas cushions and screens
New Raw water intake strainer
New Carburetors on both engines
New Fuel lines, fuel pumps and exhaust hoses
New Port heat exchanger
New Ignition coils
New Spark plugs and wires
Bottom paint (2013) hull is scrubbed every month
New Shadow Caster under water lights (2013)
New Starboard shaft and cutlass bearing
New fairing block for the transducer
New Garmin 740s
New Plow Anchor
New Dual-note horn
New Speakers and Stereo
New Wireless Go light search/spotlight
New Screen door in cockpit
New Anchor light
New Salon (Everything is custom built)
Moving into the Cockpit, everything looked very clean and tidy. Large transom door, shore power hookups and freshwater washdown. Under the deck is the Onan 6.5kw Genset. 2 rod holders and rod storage round out a good size cockpit. Moving to the bow you’ll see a Newer free falling Windlass that works great. A new Go light wireless searchlight was installed next to the New Dual Note horn.
Up in the Flybridge is again neat and tidy. Plenty of room for family and friends at the wrap around canvas cushions. Bimini and Isinglass appear to be in like new condition. Per the seller everything at the helm works. New electronics installed and the older electronics still work for a back-up.
Stepping in the Salon your greeted with 360 Degrees of windows making it very bright. Nice size couch that folds down for sleeping. Across is a 32″ Flat screen with DVD plater and AC/DC Electronics panel. The entire deck is simulated Teak that shows very nicely. The galley has twin sinks, 3 burner stove/oven and large Fridge/Freezer. Moving down the stairs you’ll notice the Head with shower and electric Jabsco toilet with macerator.
The stateroom is good size with 2 hatch windows. It features it’s own AC controls and unit and storage on both sides.
Engine room is under the salon with great access to both engines with plenty of room to service both port and starboard Crusader 454 350hp engines. New carburetors were installed on both engines and per the seller they work flawlessly. With only 477 hours on the engines they should have a lot of life left in them.
Sale includes a 9ft soft bottom dinghy with oar’s.
