A SYSTEM THAT MAKES SENSE. CONSERVE WATER AND BE HYGIENIC.
This system allows you to use water that might otherwise never be seen to wash your hands after you do your business on the toilet. Once you flush your toilet the faucet turns on automatically. When your toilet goes through it’s full cycle the faucet automatically shuts off. Your toilet will use the same amount of water as it always has and you may be surprised how much water a toilet uses for one flush.
Water is directed through a water spout from the fill tube where it drains down the overflow tube into the toilet bowl. The concept of saving water comes from you not needing to walk to your counter sink to wash your hands. Being hygienic, for obvious reasons are; one you wash your hands straight after flushing, second because you only touch the flush handle and not the counter sink faucet handle where you may transfer germs to the next user. You just need to touch the flush handle once to wash your hands then just walk away with clean hands cause the faucet shuts off by itself. The water flow is a reminder that we should always wash our hands after using the toilet. This systems will engage people of all ages to want to wash their hands which in turn may help you be a healthier you.
The water that pours out of the faucet is the same water that all of your houses water supply comes from including the water you shower with.
There is more than enough water for hand washing. You could even put a container on the side of your toilet to capture the excess water after you wash your hands to water plants or quench your pets thirst. The toilet bowl only needs so much water. It’s the toilet tank that stores all of the water for the next flush. When the tank gets full only then will the faucet shut off but now you can use the water that goes to the bowl for good.
The sink in the video may not be available because I try to keep an assortment of sinks so the homeowner can pick one to their liking. The soap dispenser is optional if wanted. I can’t guarantee I will be able to install one due to all toilets are not created equal and real estate in the tank may be minimal. Saving money on your water bill is an added bonus to your health and conserving our natural resources. This system is just another way to living a greener life.
